I am 40 percent complete with the Green Belt and hope to finish that over the next few weeks. The course itself is very insightful and I am enjoying it.

I feel I am progressing well on the course. I am at Module E17 109 – Introduction to Minitab. I’m 29% complete with the green belt course. I’m doing this course in conjunction with my Master’s Degree, so I need to split my time between the two. So far it is very interesting and I am really enjoying it!

I was part of a team of students that enrolled in the Six Sigma class you presented in May in JHB.

We are due to hand in our submissions next week. I want to start off by saying how much I have enjoyed implementing the skill sets we obtained with you.

I especially enjoy looking at the data and asking the guys their opinion as to what they think the root cause is. It is interesting to see how often a “gut feel” or “in my mind” answer you get, that is not supported by the data.

I am then quick to point out that the data does not support it, so either the data was fabricated or they do not know the real underlying reason for it. I found it challenging to lead a team where I am not the expert, but with good data it is considerably easier. That and having a clear objective and buy in from everyone, made it easier.

I’m happy to qualify for this certification and I must acknowledge that your excellent training skills and directness has helped me tremendously through my journey. This is much appreciated and would certainly pursue the Black Belt certification in due course.
